Crossover Slugfest is a 2D fighting game that changes based on how you want to play. Fights may take place one on one, two on two, or a special One on Two Boss mode.

The game will feature a Story Mode that will feature a Heroes V Villains Mechanic, and will also feature characters that have not yet been released. (M. Bison from STREET FIGHTER, Demitri Maximoff from DARKSTALKERS, and Edward Falcon from POWER STONE have been shown in Gameplay to be playable and have at least a minor part of the story.)
There will also be Four different Arcade Modes. They are named Single Arcade, Tag Arcade, Boss Rush Arcade (Two on One Fights), and Ultimate Arcade (One on Two Fights). Each will consist of Ten fights of varying difficulty, with the final fight being against a counterpart from their home series. Completing an Arcade Mode Once will unlock the Survival Version of that mode, where you will only heal 25% of your total damage after the end of every round. There are no continues in Survival, and the attempt will end upon being Ko'ed. (In Tag Matches, Ko'ed teammates will return with 25% of their total health in the next round.)
POSSIBLE DLC[]
There have not been any announcements, but there are rumors that each Fighting Game already active in the game will receive a "VS PACK", with the first being "Street Fighter VS Mortal Kombat". It will reportedly feature Four Characters Total based on Fan Polls of each individual series. There is also rumors of a series of "Fan Poll DLC", which will consist of the Fighters who get the Highest amount of votes that were unable to get a spot otherwise.
