Cosmo the Seedrian is a platforming game featuring the titled character from Sonic X, developed by Sonic Team, and published by Sega for the Bandai Mega3DRX, and SuperPlayer. It's the only Sonic spin-off game featuring Cosmo.

The titled character has to rescue Tails, who has been kidnapped by Dr. Eggman in the Death Egg.

The gameplay is different from your typical Sonic game, as it's more of a 3D platforming game similar to Spyro the Dragon, as the levels are open-ended, and revolve around exploring and destroying enemies that are in your way. And eventually fight a boss at the end.

As Cosmo, she can fly in the air infinitely, and can fly at great speed. On ground, she only floats, but can still fly fast and do some ground attacks. Instead of rings protecting you, it's a long health bar. Grabbing stars can regain health back. However, you only have one life, as it's game over once your health bar goes down (but you are given Continues, they can be given by collecting a "Cosmo" nametag, she is initially given 3, but can have up to ). Instead of jumping on enemies, you kill them with your magic projectiles you throw, and a spiral spin that is only used when flying in the air.

Monitors items from the Sonic universe (except rings are replaced by star health) are featured, that helps Cosmo progress in the level, and includes a new item "Power Attack", which is use to kill enemies on site. Boss battles are similar to the ones featured in Kingdom Hearts, as you drain the boss' health bar by shooting magic or spiral spinning in the air.
